We are keen to recruit a graduate for our London office to work in our operations team.
Record is a leading specialist currency and asset manager with $106.0 billion (as at 30 September 2024) in Assets Under Management Equivalent. Record’s services include currency management, sustainable finance, and asset management. Our clients are largely institutions, including pension funds, charities, foundations, endowments, and family offices.
Record’s offices are in London, Zürich, New York, Amsterdam, and Düsseldorf. The relevant team are based in the London office.
Position: Analyst
Department: Operations
Role: Full time (37.5 hours per week). Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the London office.
Line Manager: A senior member of the operations team.
Key areas of responsibility and activities:
The operations team manages numerous critical processes which support the operations of our currency management business. The successful candidate will proactively contribute to the following:
- Settlements – Prepare, process and communicate all FX and cash management settlement activity.
- Confirmations – Responsible for pro-actively monitoring and ensuring trades executed on behalf of our clients match against counterparties.
- Reconciliations – Perform trade and cash reconciliations for all client accounts.
- Notifications – Responsible for managing trade communications to clients and third parties.
- Cash and Collateral Management – Responsible for daily agreement and processing of cash and collateral management activities.
- Regulatory Reporting – Responsible for regulatory reporting on behalf of our clients (EU EMIR, UK EMIR, FinfraG) and MIFID on behalf of RCML (Record Currency Management).
- Rate Captures – Responsible for managing all rate captures into Calypso.
Requirements:
- First or upper second class degree (or international equivalent) in a STEM subject.
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and retain complex information.
- Confident and able to work with new technologies.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, working well within a team.
- An interest in financial markets and investment and a desire to learn more in this area.
