About the job

The National Sales Manager for Applied Refrigeration and Service (APRS) is responsible for leading the sales operations across the country, driving sales growth, and achieving company sales targets. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing a nationwide sales team, and building long-term client relationships.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Working with the senior APRS team to develop effective sales strategies and implementing Nationally to achieve company goals. Directing all sales activities including marketing, exhibitions and online.
  • Leading the Sales Team: Leading and managing the sales team to achieve company and individual targets. Providing training and guidance to team to enhance engagement, performance and to drive their personal development.
  • Senior Team Involvement: As part of the APRS leadership team, impact wider decisions to drive future growth throughout the team including operationally.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain productive relationships with key clients, identifying needs and proposing solutions. Recognising opportunities for company growth outside current offerings and escalating where appropriate.
  • Forecasting & Monitoring: Prepare sales forecasts, analysing sales data and identifying market trends. Setting up key metrics.
  • Negotiation: Interpreting customer requirements and providing suitable solutions whilst understanding risk, in particular terms and conditions. Close agreements with large customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Project team, Industrial Product team and throughout the J&E Hall business to ensure alignment and brand consistency.
  • Feedback: Aligning closely with the APRS team to provide feedback and direction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Industry specific sales experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
