Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain, optimise and enhance IT Infrastructure, including configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
- Lead fault resolution processes and troubleshoot complex issues systematically.
- Design and deploy new infrastructure components, including network devices, virtual machines, containers and workflows.
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions for real-time insights.
- Foster Agile and DevOps practices within the team to enhance operational efficiency and delivery quality.
- Standardise and document end-user device build processes for secure and consistent system integration.
- Mentor and empower Engineers, fostering their professional growth.
What You’ll Need:
- Extensive knowledge of Networking, Enterprise Operating Systems and virtualisation technologies (VMware, Cisco, Linux, Windows Server).
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to delegate, prioritise and manage workloads effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python or Bash) and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and iterative workflows.
