Position: Engineering Stores Controller

Contract Duration: 3 month contract Inside IR35 with a potential of outside IR35 position

Rate: £28.00 to £38.00 per hour depending on IR35 status

Working Hours:

Location: Commutable from Watford

This role is for a project to reorganise the existing stores, plan, and rearrange it.

Profile:

The successful Engineering Stores Controller will have a background in engineering and preferably managed stores and administration related tasks. This role supports the Engineering Manager.

You will have a good knowledge of engineering parts and be happy to carry out additional ad hoc work as and when the business requires, so must have a flexible approach to work.

The Role:

As the Engineering Stores Controller, you will be supporting and reporting to the Engineering Manager. Your daily duties will include:

1. Improving the management of the Engineering stores to ensure the plant’s efficiency & quality targets are achieved
2. Ordering engineering parts
3. Auditing and supporting inventory on the CMMS system
4. Conducting stock checks of the engineering stores
5. Checking and updating the water treatment system
6. Liaising closely with the engineering teams
7. Keeping the stores neat and tidy
