Are you looking to develop an exciting career as an individual giving fundraiser and join an ambitious, successful and award winning charity? Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice to find a Supporter Engagement Officer!

We’re looking for professional fundraisers with demonstrable experience in individual giving fundraising, and experience in creating and managing fundraising campaigns aimed at securing donations from individual supporters.

Basic Details:

  • Job Title: Supporter Engagement Officer
  • Organisation: Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice
  • Location: Barnet, North London, Hybrid (3 days in the office)
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £29,291 to £34,963

  • Requirements: Valid UK driving license.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Supporter Engagement Manager in managing, developing and overseeing our individual giving program, including one-off donations, in-memory giving, regular giving, appeals, legacies, hospice lottery, and celebratory fundraising.
  • Develop and implement rich stewardship journeys that help build lifelong, engaged supporters.
  • Oversee individual supporter journeys, acquisition, and retention.
  • Address individual supporter inquiries promptly and appropriately.
  • Work with the Supporter Engagement Manager and Marcomms team to research current trends and create visually appealing targeted individual giving appeals and campaigns on various social media platforms, posts, websites, etc
  • Ensure accurate processing, coding, recording, and acknowledgement of all donations.

Essentials:

  • Demonstrable track record of meeting fundraising income targets, supporter acquisition and retention.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing/fundraising techniques including e-mail marketing and paid/organic social media advertising.
  • Proficient IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office programmes and donor databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to confidently manage a varied workload.
  • A confident speaker with good presentation skills.
