VP with Asset Management – migration project

Job Description

Our client, a leading Asset Manager, is looking for a VP to oversee a high-level migration project.

Role: VPRate: £500 – £750Payment Framework: Employment Company (inside IR35)Contract start date: June 2025Current end date: June 2027Location: London, on-site Monday to Friday (office based)

Requirements:

• Asset Management knowledge, preferably middle office
• Preferably good understanding of Trade lifecycle, or Investment Accounting
• Experience with systems integration, production parallel testing, run book management
• Technical knowledge of Excel or VBA

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and secure migration of historical to new systems
• Develop a comprehensive migration strategy and roadmap, detailing timelines, resources, and risk management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and internal departments to gather requirements and ensure the new system meets specific requirements.
• Oversee the configuration and customization of the systems ensuring they assist with current and new workflows and processes.
• Run test scenarios to check system functionalities
• Review data integrity pre- and post-migration.
• Support with system requirements of current systems.
• Provide ongoing support during the migration, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring continuity of operations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, including technical specifications, user guides, and support materials.
