What you’ll be doing:

The Procurement Manager will report to the Procurement Director and will support on strategic sourcing, purchasing, and overall management of the procurement processes, including supplier relationships management, optimisation of costs, quality, and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy and Planning:

  • Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and high-quality suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess and forecast procurement needs.

2. Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best possible terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits to assess reliability and performance.

3. Contract Negotiation:

  • Support in negotiation of contracts with suppliers
  • Review supplier agreements collaborating with internal stakeholders (legal, HSE, technical)

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics to senior management.

What experience you’ll bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement in renewable sector (Solar, Wind and/or BESS), with a demonstrated ability to manage complex purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier performance and market trends.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
