We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the team and lead an engineering projects department. As an Engineering Projects Manager, you will play a key role in managing a talented team and overseeing crucial projects that contribute to the company’s further growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of skilled engineers and project professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to internal stakeholders and clients. Foster positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
£60,000-£65,000
