You will focus on being an advocate for compliance and regulatory risk through raising awareness and maintaining standards across our Company and providing mentoring and training for colleagues. In addition, you will manage our J-Sox auditing programme and act as a main point of contact for environmental agencies and schemes.

It is therefore imperative that you are able to confidently present information and deliver training sessions for everyone, and conduct risk assessments, inspections and resolve any issues promptly.
As a Company representative, you will need to collaborate with managers, employees, external agencies and contractors, and other Sumitomo Electric Group affiliated companies, so being able to build good working relationships is a must, along with providing timely and relevant guidance and advice.
With this role, there will be the occasional requirement to travel to other offices within the EMEA region with overnight stays.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following experience:
- a minimum of 3 years previous work experience in either a Compliance or Quality role

- an appreciation and understanding of health & safety principles.
It is desirable if you have an ICA Certificate in Compliance, or you are IOSH/NEBOSH trained.
If you have the above experience, then we would love to hear from you, so please apply by submitting your current CV and a cover letter to say why we should recruit you, whether you are looking for full-time or part-time employment and your salary expectations.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary, pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare cover, income protection, annual medical, life and travel insurance. The Company also offers the option of hybrid working.
