Pure Search are instructed by a leading City law firm looking to grow their Employment team at 3-5PQE.
The Firm:
Our client is an ambitious and entrepreneurial City firm looking to grow their small but well-balanced Employment team. There is a general approach across the firm of setting up teams with a 1:1 Partner to Associate ratio, which is consistent with the Employment team.
The firm represents a broad range of clients including household name media businesses, global fashion brands, international energy businesses, publishers, investment banks, pharmaceutical companies and global insurance clients. This is a chance to join a small but growing team where you can stand out and progress quickly.
The Role:
This is a broad employment role split equally into 3 areas:
- Corporate Transactional Support (TUPE/Outsourcing/M&A)
- HR Advisory (Grievance/Disciplinary/Termination)
- Litigation (Tribunals/High Court/Whistleblowing)
The team has advised on a range of complex and strategic workplace employment and partnership matters including contractual negotiations, TUPE and reorganisations, exits and post-termination disputes, tribunal cases, disciplinary, grievance and redundancy processes.
You will have the chance to work with a range of clients from start-ups to established FTSE 100 brands.
About You:
You will have at least 3 years post-qualification experience at a Legal 500 ranked practice for Employment, ideally with a spread of experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. While there will be exposure to working with senior executives, our client is looking for someone with a strong background advising employers.
