Salary: £30,000 – £32,000

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Operative to join a well-established team in Central London. The role focuses on ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day building operations through effective planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) to ensure all building systems are running efficiently.
• Performing weekly fire alarm testing to meet compliance and safety standards.
• Conducting emergency lighting testing and inspections to ensure systems are operational and compliant.
• Responding to basic building services faults and ensuring timely resolutions.
• Logging maintenance tasks and updating compliance records.

Requirements:

• Background in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with fire safety systems, lighting checks, and general building services.
• Ability to work independently and manage routine maintenance schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety.
