Purpose of this role
To collaborate effectively with the broader Distribution, Portfolio Underwriting, and Portfolio Management teams, and to play a pivotal role in executing Ki’s underwriting and distribution strategy for your portfolio. This involves converting renewal and new opportunities while enhancing Ki’s market position and reputation as a leading Lloyd’s digital syndicate.
You’ll take the initiative within your portfolio to establish the Account Management function at Ki and integrate value-added services for our partner brokers. This includes helping to define the target operating model for the Account Management team and assisting in the development of new processes and protocols that enhance the team’s capacity to drive a profitable portfolio of business into the algorithm. Additionally, you’ll lead the onboarding process for new colleagues in the Account Management team, ensuring they are set up for success.
You’ll also be responsible for ensuring overall integrity and coherence within the account management team by coordinating activities across multiple broking houses, which includes building, maintaining, and servicing key strategic relationships with Ki’s partner brokers.
Your role will be instrumental in Ki’s success by managing relationships with all key stakeholders and maximizing the customer experience. This will involve understanding their business needs, with a specific focus on platform usage, maximizing policy retention, identifying new opportunities, and generating new business—all of which will contribute to the successful delivery of our strategic plan.
