Data Programme Manager – Insurance

We are seeking a Data Programme Manager to join a prominent organisation within the insurance sector. This forward-thinking business is currently undergoing a major transformation and is looking for an experienced professional to lead the delivery of key data-driven initiatives.

Job Overview:

• Join the Transformation team, supporting analytics, data science, and business reporting.
• Oversee the development of both existing and new data engineering and science solutions.
• Play a key role in change management, ensuring robust governance across all transformation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional collaboration across departments including Underwriting, IT, Sales, and more.
• Translate business requirements into actionable data plans, ensuring alignment and successful delivery.
• Design and implement a best-in-class Underwriting Data Warehouse.
• Define KPIs and acceptance criteria for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ongoing system maintenance.
• Drive data governance, ensuring high standards of data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
• Provide strategic and technical direction to development teams delivering the Data Warehouse.
• Manage and oversee UAT plans, ensuring proper documentation and business approval.
• Lead TPA data initiatives to support the future-state Iris Underwriting Data Warehouse.
• Coordinate and deliver multiple data projects, managing deadlines and resources effectively.
• Support and mentor project team members, fostering development and performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, clarifying expectations and ensuring successful delivery outcomes.

Location: Central London, EC3A – Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

Start Date: ASAP (up to 3 months’ notice considered)
