to join its community hospice at home service, delivering expert care to children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Operating in South East London the organization is dedicated to providing high-quality, family-centered care in the home environment.
About the Role
As a
Senior
Registered Nurse , you will be responsible for:
Providing respite care
Offering short breaks (2-6 hours) to support familiesManaging symptoms and medications
Ensuring children receive expert clinical careDelivering end-of-life and post-death care
Providing compassionate and dignified supportOverseeing a caseload of children
Developing and reviewing individualised care plans

Key Clinical Skills Required:
Registered Nurse (RCN / RGN / RNLD)with paediatric nursing experienceExperience with Tracheostomy care and ventilation (invasive and non-invasive)Experience managing caseloads in the community is preferredSupport families, addressing emotional and clinical requirements
Additional Responsibilities:
Supporting and mentoring healthcare assistantsTranscribing drug charts for community useConducting initial assessments and annual care plan reviewsCollaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionalsProviding support within the residential hospice as required
