We’re looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon, to join a team of passionate staff, where you can make a significant impact on animal health and welfare while expanding your veterinary expertise beyond traditional practice. The Veterinary Surgeon will provide crucial veterinary input across various areas of the client’s operations. If you’re passionate about animal welfare and eager to take on new challenges in a stimulating environment, this opportunity is for you.Collaborate with the Named Veterinary Surgeon(s) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelinesDevelop and maintain expertise in laboratory animal science and related disciplines through ongoing education and trainingProvide veterinary cover for animal units and clinical services at the facilitiesSupport the implementation of new techniques, procedures, and technologies to enhance animal care and welfareProvide advice and assistance to staff on the implementation of the three Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) principlesDeputise for senior veterinary staff as needed and support staff training and developmentComply with regulatory, quality, and health and safety procedures, including maintaining records and obtaining necessary accreditations
