The RoleAs Senior Bid Lead , you will take a strategic approach to bid management, ensuring all submissions are compelling, competitive, and compliant. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining winning strategies, developing strong stakeholder relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the bid function.

Key Responsibilities Bid Leadership & StrategyLead and coordinate bid, estimation, and proposal management processes, ensuring high-quality, winning submissions.Oversee the development of innovative bid strategies to maximise success rates.Map tender award criteria into persuasive, high-scoring written responses. Stakeholder & Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing bid team, fostering a culture of excellence.Collaborate with senior leadership to align bid strategies with broader business objectives.Engage with key clients and internal stakeholders to enhance bid positioning. Operational & Financial OversightManage and prioritise multiple high-value bids to maintain efficiency and performance.Work closely with commercial teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.Oversee resource allocation and bid governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement & InnovationImplement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance bid processes.Utilise data insights to refine strategies and improve win probability.Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.

What We’re Looking For✅ Experience & ExpertiseExtensive experience in bid management, proposal writing, and tendering.Strong track record of managing complex, high-value bids.Background in social housing is highly desirable.Deep understanding of bid governance, procurement strategies, and compliance.✅ Skills & LeadershipExceptional strategic thinking and business development capabilities.Proven leadership experience, managing and mentoring bid teams.Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.Ability to create compelling, high-scoring tender responses.
